Greenways for Nashville President Jim Kelley officially started the Richland Creek Run/Walk shortly after 8 a.m. outside of the Cohn Adult Learning Center on April 3, 2010. More than 500 people regisetered for the event.
The overall male winners were Matt Pulle (27:34), Jacob Carrigan (27:45) and John Ramsay (28:54). The overall female winners were Tonya Lumphrey (33:18), Jennifer Ortner (36:51) and Teresa Marchetti (36:51).

About the Fourth-annual
Richland Creek Run/Walk
The Richland Creek Run/Walk will carry participants along a five-mile timed and measured course through sections of the Richland Creek Greenway and Sylvan Park on Saturday, April 3, 2010. Net proceeds from this event benefit Greenways for Nashville, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the creation, protection, preservation, and promotion of Nashville greenways.
The run will begin at 8 a.m. outside of the Cohn Adult Learning Center, 4805 Park Avenue, and wind through parts of Sylvan Park before heading onto the Richland Creek Greenway and finishing back at Cohn. The walk will begin at 8:15 a.m. at the same location and follow the same course.
As in prior years, packet pickup for participants who pre-register will be available on Friday, April 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sports Seasons (56 White Bridge Road).
The Course
The Richland Creek Run/Walk showcases Sylvan Park and the Richland Creek Greenway along its five-mile course.
